The Tamar Belle

The Tamar Belle offers a nostalgic step back in time for visitors. You can stay in comfortable restored sleeping car accommodation, sample the cuisine in the dining car, browse the exhibits in the heritage centre, visit the signal box and enjoy the demonstrations of railway working.

For those wishing to leave their car behind, the regular service to Bere Ferrers station links to Plymouth and the main London - Penzance railway.

Pokelogin Cottage


Pokelogin Cottage is in a SSSI site overlooking a tidal creek on the Tamar Estuary.  The three bedroomed, self catering cottage is extremely well fitted out rating four gold stars on the Blue Chip Holiday website.

Parking available for 2-3 cars with a small slipway for small craft.  

There are launching possibilities of about two hours either side of high tide.
