Drawn to the Valley

The Drawn to the Valley project brings together artists from across the Tamar Valley area, including Plymouth. Our aims are to promote art within the area for the benefit of both the public and the artists by putting on a series of exhibitions and an Open Studios event. It is hoped that the project will help contribute to the wider regeneration of the local economy and to the promotion of the Tamar Valley as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of the World Heritage Site.

Devon Open Studios - 3rd - 18th September 2011

Over 300 artists are taking part in this year's Devon Open Studios event. A series of nine Art Trails, each with its own map will run across the county between September 6-21 with trails in North Devon, West Devon and South Hams running from September 6-14 and those in Exeter, East Devon, Torbay and Teignbridge running from September 13-21. In addition to the artists, the trails will also feature local food outlets and producers enabling visitors to plan their routes and enjoy high quality local food as part of their Open Studios day out.
